| Please DO NOT grant parole to Perry Jessie Law, CDC C-22425. On April 14, 1980, Law held a young mother against her will at gunpoint, endangering her life as well as the lives of her small children. When Daniel Hopper, the children's father, arrived, Perry Law shot Daniel Hopper three times. After Daniel fell to the ground, Perry Law kicked him, turned him over, and shot two more times to deliver the fatal shots. He then went on to commit other crimes. | ||||||||||||
| The heinous nature of the murder of Daniel Hopper, the multiple crimes committed and his past history of violent crimes should preclude any consideration of parole for Perry Jessie Law. His actions have shown that he is extremely volatile and that he has no regard for human life. For his numerous crimes Law was sentenced to 20 years to Life in prison but he sentenced the Hopper family and friends to a lifetime of grief and sorrow. We the undersigned as concerned citizens ask you to deny Parole to Perry Law in the interest of Justice and Public Safety. |
